I'm just waiting, if I get the call or not to put in my vacation request. I have another 10 day trip that I will attend if I don't make UA, so either way I needed to be ready.

Doesn't matter where it is, I'm driving there and back.

That's too short a swap for my taste but if you only have 120mi range it's probably easier to swap than it is to get back to sleep after a fuel stop. I'm spoiled with 50 gallon tanks in tow rigs, my buddy and I have done Hammers and back team driving twice, and swap every 400 miles or so. We both drive long stretches no problem and that's a pretty descent sleep cycle for both of us. I'd hate a 2 hour swap...

Yep, I have a 13 gallon tank so 120 miles is about the limit before refueling (allowing for a buffer).

I will say that at 3am on night two, about 2 hours is all the longer I wanted to be behind the wheel. Sleep is less than rejuvenating with tube doors on a single cab. You're in zombie mode until you arrive and catch up on sleep.

Right on. I would drive mine anywhere if the time permits. I agree with everyone on its part of it.

I sincerely hope that's wrong, as that's a big part of the draw as a reader. The sponsor hug-fest in the last issue has me ready to cancel.

Fake news. Why why they go through the trouble of having people send in an application, then extend the deadline, just to have zero invited readers.

Honestly it would not surprise me. You have Discovery involved now, and possibly a much larger group of lawyers looking over the event for potential liability.

I donít think this is true. Not from what Iíve heard also why extend the application cut off if your not going to do invites. That wouldnít make the event look very good.

I'd love to drive mine to and from once I put radials on it, but depending on where it is I might have to trailer it just for time constraints. I've got 23 gallons my range is decent.

There are a few. The mediocre adventure, the Jk experience. This one just has its tradition. But there are lots of week long adventures Alaska or Rust. The great Willyís adventure.

I didn't even think of that. That honestly could make a massive difference in the readers chosen to go.

I think it could even be its own series if played right. 4 or 5 UA type trips each season with some more personal interest and more tech baked in.

So, UA will become a reality tv show now? Fake drama and all?

This would be cool. I always liked the video's put up by the readers and sponsors were posted throughout the week. Offroad Power Products has done it some and when BDS was on the trip they did a good job of that.
