Wheeled the heck out of it at TDS last weekend and it works amazing well for its first time out.

I need to do a few minor adjustments to the steering so I get more. Overall, I'm impressed by the climbing and crawling of the IBEX chassis.

Can you elaborate on the steering changes you plan to make? Did you resolve the engine cutting out issues that Drew and I were troubleshooting before and at KOH? Have you setup the tap shifting on the 6l80 yet and if so how do you like it?

Would anybody else be interested in an Ibex chassis with a pickup bed? Love what Drew's done with this chassis, and seems like it would make a pretty good starting point for a project like this. With as much as I have going on right now, sure would be nice to save all the time it would take to design/build something completely custom. Sent Drew a PM last night and he's open to the idea, but am sure he'd like to hear what other people think.

We are going to be shortening the arm length so we can get more steering.

The engine did cut out on me one time when I got on it. I'll be taking down to Turnkey so they can look at it while it is on the Dyno. I just thought I did something but I did have to turn the power off and reset the ECM.

I have all of the parts for the tap shifter but have not installed it yet.

We are reconfiguring the shocks, adding larger fuel cell, spare tire and adding all of the safety stuff for the NORRA 1000.

Out of curiosity are there any serial numbers on these chassis? Just curious.

Mine doesn't have any identification like that. Would be kinda curious to know a production line number.

Let me know when you've sold 250. I'll be first in line for my new modified build.

Today we ran Outer Limits, Spooner Canyon, Chocolate Thunder, Claw Hammer and Wrecking bar. The IBEX climbs really well. Really impressed with it!

I have a chromo chassis in stock. Well on a pallet! That was me on the 91. The IBEX is located in Corona.

Just curious, but how do you get your tranny/engine out if it's all welded in? Cut the welds?

The engine comes out the top, trans out the bottom. There's just one tube over the engine, you can put a tube clamp like shown below on either side to remove the tube. Same goes for the trans cross tube

Still working on finishing up the details like, radiator mount, steering column, brake pedal, etc. I have about 90% of the complete chassis kits done and in stock. Here are a few of the newest parts I make for the Ibex chassis.

Radiator mount: fits an off the shelf HD Griffin Radiator
