241 DHD-46re

Most likely a nooooob question but....Can a 241 DHD be mounted to a 46RE trans? There is one for sale that is fresh and cheap. It's a 96 T-Case from a 2500, mine is a 99 1500. I ask because I'm using a drive shaft from a 2500 gas job in my truck currently with a 241D case currently.

Would a 241 DHD, 23 spline with a drivers PTO output be worth $150? It's rebuilt. I keep seeing that the PTO job is the one to get.

You say that it's rebuild.... I would ask if it was rebuilt by the person selling it, or by a professional offroad or transmission shop. Id also ask how long ago it was rebuilt? What parts neede to be replaced during the rebuild? If the chain was replaced? Finally, how many miles, on road or off, have been put on it since the rebuild??
$150 sounds like a steal to me!
I hope that helps!
