Jeep tj fuel sending unit and autometer gauge

Did a bunch of searching and came up with the following:

Jeep sender is 20-220 ohms

Autometer is 33-240 ohms

Options:

Install 20 ohm resistor inline

Possibly replace sending unit with vdo 226007 which is 33-240

I don't want the gauges with the buttons on the front. Is the vdo sending unit an option?

I am dropping tank to replace with Novak fuel set up for my 5.3. Will be replacing pump assy with the Bosch unit at this time.

Any newer options on this?

How about calling Autometer and asking them what you need to do to use one of their gauges?

I called. I am using the autometer sender and adding it to my TJ fuel tank.

Thank you
