LS & Body Combo Harness

I am building a 63 Scout 80 with 5.3 and 4l60e. I will be keeping the scout street legal so I need all the amenities: hi/lo beam headlights, tail lights, turn signals, wipers, heater etc.

In order to prevent having a separate fuse panel assembly for the LS harness, the body harness, and extra common accessories. I was hoping to use a single relay/distribution center.

Any recommendations on a universal body harness, distribution center, or donor relay/distribution center from another vehicle?

Thanks in advance.

I think Painless makes "universal" wire harnesses like you are talking about. However, it also depends how much you want to spend. I prefer to do everything myself so i can save a ton of money, and it also allows me to learn how everything is hooked up, in case of electrical problems or future troubleshooting.

you can get relay harnesses that snap together, so you can hang all your relays together in one spot, and you can easily find universal fuse blocks just about anywhere.

What are you doing for switches? stock controls for all electrical items, or adding aftermarket switches/switch panel? if going with an aftermarket switch panel, I recommend ARC8000, its well worth the money.

Decided I will just strip down my own LS harness and build my chassis harness from scratch. I will be using the Bussman/Eaton RFRM Fuse block as it will have more then enough provisions for the LS and chassis accessories.

At this point I am not too worried about the LS harness portion of the wiring but I have never wired a chassis from scratch, only ever used pre-built universal harnesses. Does anyone have a basic wiring diagram they can share? More concerned about headlight, turn signal/flasher wiring, and wiper wiring than anything. Everything else is pretty straight forward.

Thanks

Also, is anyone aware of a mini flasher relay? that will fit in that fuse block?
