WIRING HELP '87 22RE in an '89 4Runner

Hello! First post here, anywho, I've got an `89 4runner with a blown 22RE, so I found a 22RE out of an `87 pickup, but the previous owner cut the wiring harness at the firewall. I figured I could just swap in the harness from the `89 22RE, but a lot of the connectors are different. Would I be able to just swap all the sensors from the `89 22RE on to the `87 22RE? Or are they different?

use the sensors that match the ECU that you have

connectors

The Toyota connectors are extremely easy to take apart and reinstall a different plug. I know 89 has a different fuel sender.

as in, if you have a body plug that is L shaped and need a blade shaped one, you can open it up and just swap wires from one plug style to the other
