1990 Jeep YJ engine, 4.2L, TF999 for sale.

I just pulled the engine and trans out of my YJ to start my LS swap. Up for sale is the 4.2L strait six with Howell Fuel-injection.

Also, included is my TF999 with a reverse manual valve body and Cheetah floor shifter.

I can also include a newer aluminum radiator and a well used trans cooler.

Every ran and drove before I pulled it out.

Located in Palmdale, Ca

How about the tranny. How many miles. Has it been rebuilt. I see it has floor shift. Im looking for a spare in case my throws up. You know if it's the same as 32rh. Iv been told they are but I can't be 100% sure. Mines a 93. Let me know. Thanks.

The trans has not been rebuilt. Iím not sure of the mileage. I bought it off here somewhere around ten years ago. When I got it, I pulled the pan and put in the new valve body. The valve body has decomposition braking in all gears.

It worked just fine when I pulled it out. However, I would rebuild it before I went through the trouble of putting in something else.

One difference between the 32RH and the TF999 is the hole for the crank position sensor. Some TF999ís have the hole and some donít. This TF999 doesnít have the hole. I have seen pictures of where people have drilled the hole and made it work.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Thanks,
Chuck
