1984 ford e350 quigley 4x4 cutaway box van conversion

[IMG][/IMG]Hey guys Im a total noob to this thread, and by no means a good mechanic, but I have a dream. I recently purchased a 1984 ford dually e350 quigley 4x4 box van with a carbed 460, c6 automatic, chevy style dana 60 front end and 25,000 miles. The vehicle was used by the New Hampshire fire department as a rescue/utility vehicle until 2001 when it was purchased by a guy who did nothing with it for 17 years. I am planning on turning it into a badass off grid camper/tiny home which i intend to attempt to live in for a while chasing snow, surf, and my 8 year career of commercial/charter fishing. I have already done a bit of work rebuilding the fuel system with a larger plastic tank and external electric pump, most of the entire brake system, and gutted the inside. I have a lot of work in front of me and thought it would be a cool idea to maybe share it with you guys and ask some questions? I have learned pretty much everything i know about mechanical/automotive systems through the school of necessity and hard knocks, and Ive definitely never worked on anything this big, so any help, advice, or even questioning would probably be greatly appreciated. Let me know what you think and i will post some pics soon. along with plenty of questions im sure. Thank you
