The stock seats were worn OUT and in need of replacement. I thought about buying used seats from CL or the junk yard but in the end, new were justified.

One inch square tubing was used to adapt the Ford base and slider pattern to the Jeep pattern of the Corbeau Sport recliner seats.

On a scale of 0-10, how much did those seats soften the ride?

Quite the project that's kept you busy over the years. I like the work you've put into it.

Thanks, it's been fun. I trust this thing and really do enjoy driving it, even though it looks like I just pulled it off a reservation.

Had a great day in the mountains cutting firewood. I'd say the ride is much better especially with lower back support. New seats are awesome!!!!

Lost motivation documenting builds after Photobucket killed the interwebs. Still trying to find a permanent solution but for now I'll upload to Pirate's server.

Got bored a couple of months ago and pulled the rear bumper off this thing which turned into a project.

$800 later

5 inch C channel foundation

1/8"sheet metal and 2" square tubing used on the back

great to see an update on this truck, flat deck is wicked looking but with that wheel gap you are going to need some bigger tires

Most browsers have addons, plugins, or extensions to fix the photobucket Armageddon. If you use chrome use search for extension "photobucket hotlink fix"

I tried to get the bottom of the flat deck at the same elevation of the factory steel bed. The other motivation was tires hitting with a full load. I didn't want to cut a radius in the channel for clearance.

37s would look great!
