Just FYI it is possible, but you have to pull the transmission crossmember (or cut it).

With a diesel? I've tried and you can't rock them back because the turbo/ heads hits the firewall and the oil pan binds on the crossmember.
I gutted the valley and cut the head off a dt466 piston to use it as a mount for my fuel pressure regulator and to hold the plug in the old fuel pump hole.
I also got everything to convert to a van turbo so when I got the funds I can bolt a gtp38r in place.

I've done it multiple times, I cut the motor mount bolts, 3 cuts on the crossmember, and put the hood through the windshield with the loader, then hooked the chains and lifted it with the loader while backing away from the truck.

What did your old leaf spring suspension consist of? Any interest in selling it or parts of it?

They were bronco springs that are no good anymore. The front had profender shocks 2.0x14". I think I might sell them

I need a set of 3" intakes.

Made the 1/4" in to 1/8" x2 piece myself as I couldn't find anything I liked that kept it tidy.

Once I get the 3" intakes ill sort this out.

Do you still have the profenders how did they work with the bronco springs. How did the bronco springs do trying to decide on a spring pack to use on the front of my truck. Sorry to be a lil off topic.

My time was up at the shop so I had to take the truck home. I welded the front axle to the crossmember and trailered it home.
I cleaned up the van turbo but the pedestal I got with it isn't correct so I have to order a no ebv one for it to fit.

Specs on the shocks and bumps (2")?

I'm considering Fox as well. Are you going with these based on experience? Possible to get in touch with your contact for a potential order?

Fronts are 16" 2.5" 90/90 rears are 210/90. The bumps are 2" std valving 4" stroke.

As for ordering ill see what I can do. The vendors here have decent pricing too.

The truck hasn't been worked on much but I did manage to get my '97 donor cab stripped of what I needed and I should have the engine assembled this week.

I bought another truck that I'm going to build as a service truck so that's taking my time too.

Haven't done that yet lol. I'm going to plate the stock knuckles in.
Don't know about hydro yet. I may in the future but as of now no.

Can you go into more detail on the fuel system?
Thanks.
