sure sounds like none of your issues are parts related at all and more to do with who you are dealing with ect. im in ford parts and in the fleet shop and deal with 05-C trucks everyday. they are beef from stock as far as steering and other front end parts go, yes we do lots of drag links and right hand tie rods but just from wear not catastrophic failure. and im talking trucks on 35s or 37s that live in the bush 24/7 and beat like red head step childs

Supposedly all Super Duties got Dana 60s starting sometime in the 2003 model year, although the 2005+ Super Duties are definitely all Dana 60s with 35 spline outers. Ford even advertised this fact pretty heavily for the 2005 models when they came out.

Also, no such thing as a 3/4 ton dually from the factory that I am aware of for any year or make (not counting the goofy Jap mini-truck dualies).

Yeah; a rock called marriage...

Some of it is the way i have driven it. Not crawling per se. And i dont ever seek out mud but i do not hesitate to take tough trails in search of adventure. Never ever try to just tear it up but if i wanted to not take risk i would stay on the pavement. Hard overlanding would be a good description. I am encouraged by your report of the parts shop because i really do hope to get ahead of the repairs a bit. You would think i was out yppie kai tearing it up but nope.
