Question Frame swap

Will a frame out of a 92 f250 with a 7.3 fit a 94 f350 with a 7.3. Both 133 wheel base and 4wd

Same frames, at least as long as both were same cab configuration.

if the 94 has an early powerstroke, the engine mount frame horns might be different from the 92 IDI, but they're bolted on so that's easy.
Other than that, I'd say it would be a bolt in swap provided the cab/bed config was the same, AS previously mentioned.

From what I've seen, the only difference in frames between even late 80's trucks and 90's Fords is the front of the frame horns where the bumper bolts on and the front spring shackles mount.
On half tons, they also added the crumple zone to the front in 92+.

Frames are the same, but you might need to drill and cut rivets for front suspension if you're swapping bare framed but keeping ttb or your d60



What are you trying to accomplish?

In 92, they changed the front shackles / bumper configuration. The shackles on the older frames where attached with a riveted 'box'; the newer frames are boxed in and bumper mounts differently.

The engine cross member for the diesels are different than the gas motors. The gas motors have a cutoff for the oil filter, which is where the diesel mount goes.
