wrx anyways on your radius arm mounts how are they mounted to the frame. Are they butt welded then gusseted to the side of the frame?? Thats how I did my leaf spring mounts and a bunch of people had a shit fit about them. I think they are plenty strong though. Lookin good

I have a manual JD2 with a 5.5 x1.75" die. i love it. need to pony up and buy some other dies.

and yes a WRX - grrrr bitch - nothing like awd - tire smoking - drifting - and man - killer donuts

and no - no real progress. summers here and work is way to busy. finished welding the cage. added some lower bars for seat mounts and made the other slider. made a deal on a BB and tranny ( thanks jrod66 ) still have to pick it up though. have haulted untill the funds and time increase

the radius arm mounts ? or the rear link mounts ?
the rears are made from .250 plate - welded to the frame - then boxed and x braced - the transfercase rear crosmember ( after i instaall the crawl box ) will tie the drivers and pass side together

Ok just to critique the front suspension a little bit, the lower control arm mounts are bushings at the frame and axle? That's not going to flex as well as using flex joints or a similar heim joint as you have on the rear of the vehicle. (sorry didn't have time to read the thread if this has already been covered)

Also the single upper is single sheer at both ends??? I'd be building the hell out of those mounts if I was running that much weight and wanted to street drive it.

read a little more into the thread, he covered all of what you said already...

i think you are confusing 1/2 the rear suspension, and 1/2 the front.

ive got the 44 - and thought about running it just to break it , but i didnt want to make all the brakets twice.

as for flex in the front - i think it will be fine, the main reason i put the polys at the axle was, as the axle articulates the arms will move on the same plain, thus allowing the tires to be turned at full lock and not rub on the arms. Make sence ?

time will tell

As long as the frame end will flex, hadn't seen any pics yet.

heims dont flex. you are all retarded. the trick is to make the frame twist, and solid mount the axles.

Some minor updates - Found my cheap summit seats are on back order, so no seats yet. Did weld all the cage, add my lower cage , seat mounts. Oh ad added my free grant steering wheel ( with some orange paint to match ) - made the seconed rock slider, but have not mounted it. pics to follow -

ya i need to start cleaning the welds with a wire wheel before taking pics as the gas/ burned oil makes them look shitty( wd40 keeps the tube frome rusting as my project is moving slow ), and the truck will be orange - someday
