got the drivers side done - and cut ans sectioned the grill, but didnt have enough rivits to finish. also almost killed myself trying to put the hood on
not so much as it is heavy and ocward and bent, as it is now over 5 feet to the top of the fenders, and i had no help - so it sits on the floor where it fell, and i left it.

well - the hood - lets see - its still on the ground where i dropped it

i narrowed the grill shell, grill and added some 78 round light bessel and 6"KC lights - got my 203/205 home made adapter turned down, so been screwin with that -

last weekend i made some headers for my father in laws rat rod model A - going to start on the headers for the truggy this weekend - and the hood -

the wheels are 16.5 x 9.75 with kore weld on beadlocks - adds around 1" so 10.5" ish

i cut the hood tonight, and fuck - i forgot how heavy it was, so i had to cut it down to size -

- i narrowd it and am going to lower it in the morning - will post pics then -

found a few 60s local - now i have to fork up some cash -
got the 203/205 diy going will post pics when in farther -

new pics - havent lowered the hood yet - its getting to be a pain to manuver by myself. i cut all the bracing out - and narrowed the front to match, then sectioned it - its missing just over 8" overall -

a few more -

im going to lower the hood 1.5" in the front, but i have to cut the top of the core support over 1 " and modify the factory hinge to make it close more.

so - what ya think ?

im betting no one on the trails will even notice it. it looks almost factory.

i dont think id even chop the 1.5" off...we dont want it ending up looking like joey's old hood...

i like it tho. if someone talks me into chopping that jungle gym off the front of my truck, id do it to mine too. looks spankin.

thats what i was going for - factory look - but with a twist

going to work on the doubler this week and order some header flanges - going to run 1.75 herw .120 wall to a 3" collector / 3" down pipes - then they will meet under the truck and run a singel 3.5 out the back with a flow or magna muffler - single 3.5 turn down -
