Four Dice 4WDC Making the Trail Safer!!

Many thanks to the Four Dice 4WDC for helping make the trail safer and at the same time providing a ton of firewood at Winch Hill 3. Over the weekend they completed a project they have been planning since last year. There were a number of standing dead trees at WH3. "Widowmakers." One was quite large. Along with a qualified arborist and with the approval of the TNF the trees were dropped. This popular camp spot will now be much safer. No more worrying about a dead tree falling on you in the middle of the night!

Many thanks to the Four Dice crew for their hard work as an Adopt-a-Trail club on the Fordyce Trail.

Having the professional tree fallers was the right decision. Even some of the smaller trees were rotted considerably, not real predictable when trying to drop them.

By the way did they make it home ok?
