could FOF organize a fundraiser to buy shineyboo out?

like it says, shineboo is suffering from the karmawagon.
read here:
https://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/fordy...side-road.html

so, would the FOF or Sierra Trek or both together be able to organize a fundraiser on here to buy the 'boo? here's what i'm thinking, a place for the non-4wheeling members of the family to safely hang out (w/cabins), while we enjoy the fordyce area. or, to set up a store to buy supplies/beer/etc. before heading in. finally, a safe place to park tow rigs that could be watched while we are away from them. hell, i'd pay for that. Kind of the Uncle Toms Cabin of Fordyce....... profits could go back into trail maintenance, etc.

just some random thoughts i had. flame away if you need to.

edit: 'Boo/Mike whatever; if you read this then maybe realize sometimes you need to accept that your enemy can also be your biggest ally.....

I like this idea. I wonder what the cost would be to buy it out?

I'm sure a ton of money could be raised here on PBB, even just $100 a pop for a "quiet" share and a $1K for a voting share.

Shinneyboo Closed by illegal Caltrans action
shinneyboocreek.com

Caltrans, in what we seek to prove was an illegal and personally motivated move, towed all of Shinneyboo's equipment and customer vehicles -- leaving families with infants stranded in the mountains during a Winter snow storm. This occurred on the busiest week of the year and caused a financial chain of events that has lead to the final closing of "The Boo".

The property has now been leased to The commoner's Club, an exclusive member managed non-profit 501(C)(7) social/recreation club. For information on the club send an email or go to the website link. To follow the ongoing quest for criminal legal accountability you can follow the www.facebook.com/Shinneyboo page.

Thank you to all our loyal customers.

Sincerely,
Michael Rogers

edit. Just wanted to add that I have no idea what the commoners club is, or who it consists of

maybe "stinkycat" would suffice better......

anywho, what if we approached the new "lease holders" about what we do up there and put our best face forward type thing. let them know that we frown on tearing up the forest and trails just as much as they do. try and debunk some of the rhetoric that 'shineyboo will have spouted about ALL of us and get the point across to them that not all 'wheelers are assholes just like not all hippies stink of petuli oil.

i still wonder if 'boo is in over his head in debt and that this thing may be headed to forclosure soon. does anyone have a way to research this?

I have a feeling that the Commoners Club "lease" is more of a tax shelter or lateral move to protect his property form the evil government. I don't know much about the commoners club but it sure looks "hippy", much like Shinnyboo. I,ll bet he is in bed with them in more ways than one.

I do feel bad for Mike and everything he has been through. For whatever reason the County/Govt/police feel as if they "own" or "control" everything and can do whatever they want, to whom ever they want.

I for one am sick and tired of the "elites" in our society "Liberals" telling us "free people" what to do and how to do it. This is becoming a police state and pretty soon we will all be subjects and not Free human beings.

Not really sure how to proceed here. They took the Rubicon, taking our right to defend ourselves, taking private property, taking access from our own property. This won't end until it sparks a civil war. It's gonna get crazy folks.

its actually a good thing, his payments are catching up with him which is probably why he tried selling and doing these different clubs/groups/events to create revenue, im betting he will eventually lose this property as he gets older and crazier.
