Water crossing questions?

Me and two other rigs will be up Wednesday till Friday and was wondering if 300cfm(current rate) is to much for rigs on 39.5's. none of the rigs going have ever been up there. Thanks for any comments!

You should be good to go Allen. Just watch what line you take at committee crossing there are some deep spots.

Who is going with you?

I'm heading up now. My buddies crossed wc1 on 39.5's and said the water didnt even go over his tire, the other guy was on 37's and had no issues either.

We've been on the trail for the last two weekends and the deepest hole at committee crossing was 6" over the top of my 40" tires. You shouldn't have any issues with the crossings.

Cell reception on the lower part of the trail is pretty good with Sprint, hit or miss from WH3-5..

Have Fun!

My iPhone (AT&T) has issues in spots of the lower end of the trail (before Driveline & in little valleys).

Hmmm, I only run the lower section once a year or so.... Never missed call but have made/received many from the 1st crossing on. This 4th was the first time I remember having service at meadow. The Verizon phones did not, but my phone and iPad were flawless, even pulled up a wiring diagram to re-wire an alternator.

youre reading the chart wrong or your web browser isnt seeing it right, i check it pretty much every day and i checked it this morning and it was at about 285 july 25th it is now currently at about 120 and most likely rising back up to around 285-300. they were most likely doing another flow test, they have already done 3 of them this year, i was at fordyce lake when they flew in and did one late june.

There was a stock jeep rubicon there. Crossed the first river.

Shin at first water crossing Fordyce... 300cfm - YouTube
First crossing about 11-11:30 today...
He threw a rod from sucking water... Needless to say we turned around and I got to tug him all the way out

That is the deep line...

It's 2' shallower 20 feet to his left/your right (just before the whitewater).
