Sierra Trek 2015

It may be January but Sierra Trek 2015 will be here before you know it. Tuesday, January 27th, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. will be the first planning meeting for Cal4Wheel's largest event. This is the opening meeting in which the over all vision for the event will be set. We are looking for new volunteers as well as old. If you would like to involved as an individual or a club, all are welcome and plenty of opportunities are available to volunteer. The meeting will be held at Cal4's office at 8120 36th Ave. Sacramento, CA.
Hope to see you there.

Correction: There will actually be a Spaghetti feed on April 25 to raise funds to improve the cook trailer and a number of clubs have stepped up to fund the project.

I would like to sign up this year, but am concerned about the forest being closed again especially on such a dry year. If the event is cancelled will there be a full refund?

Plan on Sierra Trek 2015 being an epic year and sign up.

The main reason the event was canceled several years ago(2007) was due to public safety, not due to the US forest service shutting down the forest. From Press Release from 2007 , This decision was reached after evaluating the fire danger and the risk to members and the public saftey

At that time, refunds were given with the following options: a full refund or a partial refund with a donation to CA4WDC, the ability to roll over to the next years Sierra Trek.
