********** PLEASE HELP !!! ********* LOST DOG ON FORDYCE !!!

After an all night rescue mission for the stranded guy with the full size K5 Blazer, they are going back to look for a missing dog.

Arlan is the one who ponied up and went out to pull this guy out, and he didn't even know him, and his dog ran off.

He is a Blue/Gray Brindle Pit Bull, and is friendly as hell, and his name is CHOMPER.

They are now headed back up to search from the Eagle Lakes trailhead to the first creek crossing and beyond.

Please call or PM if you have any information at all that will help find this dog.

Josh and Arlan are headed back up this morning to spend the day searching.

530/263-6063 Josh

530/913-3260 Arlan (His dog)

530/913-9926 Eric - I'm available all day and at a computer to check PMs.

Picture to come soon.

Just talked to Arlan. Says no luck yet but he's confident he will find him. I last had my eye on the dog where the dirt camp area near the river meets the .5 rock gardens.

I remember Arlan specifically saying he was a 95lb mastiff blue nose mix. Very friendly and meaty. I kept my eye on him in my rear view while I was watching Arlan yank me out. We stopped during the rock gardens to take a breather and I fed the dog a bottle of water. No moon out so it got dark quick and that's when I we turned to look and he wasn't there. My truck somehow started and got going but I couldn't leave Arlan so while he back tracked I walked the trail for the dog. I think he just got disoriented and went the opposite direction. The dog seemed to know the trail and stick to it. I regret not forcing that dog into my truck. He doesn't like vehicles so he wouldn't get near enough to get in. I feel horrible because it wouldn't have happened if I wasn't broke. Hoping he turns up soon.

That's very nice of you. I'm paying him for his efforts helping me. Happy to see that big meaty pup happy in the back seat.
