Rose Crawlers and Semper Fi Rock Racing Joint

Rose Crawlers and Semper Fi Rock Racing are joining forces to field a stock class Bronco for The Rausch Creek Series, Line Mountain and Rausch Creek Qualifier.

Bunny and Eugene Rose are supplying the Bronco and Bret and Kaye Keller will provide the elbow grease. Many from the East Coast know this vehicle from Rausch and Big Dogs. It's seen MORE than it's fair share of abuse.

Last night I replaced the frame at the saginaw box and installed some 1" 1/4 wall stubs for support. Currently the engine's out and tonight I'll be picking up a new used one.

We'll be doing the bare minimum to make it safe and reliable before Saturday's Rausch Creek Race.

After a quick bath:

My girls. Getting it like Dale JR.

Plenty of room to work

Laser Cut tabs from Affordable Offroad

We're attempting to push the limits of just how cheap you can race.

If this falls through, we'll try to get Happick's Bronco.

Check for cracks around the track barmount @ the frame end.......see you at the races..... GOOD LUCK! My back hurts just looking @ those seats. I have some Kirkeys with covers I can donate as long as you donate a 30pk of Miller Lite

Cheap racing isn't so cheap when you factor in medical bills . Didn't Happick hurt his back with the same seats? Good luck prepping and this weekend.

I'm mounting my seats and harnesses this week. I'll be stealing Lucas's mounting idea. We're taking it easy this race, I just don't want to miss out on the series points.

I'll shine up the valve covers on the new motor... should be good for another 4 horse power.

No worries, I'm welding Bowties on them. I should be there 7:00 or 7:30. Thanks to you and Timmay for the hook up.

Best of luck guys! Brett did you ever sell the blister or are you using its parts on this project. If I can get my stuff together I am still trying to make the may race.

I need a stock driver's side exhaust manifold. The threads stripped on one of the collector studs. I heated it with a torch and snapped it trying to remove it. Then drilled a hole in it and reheated and broke a 12 point Audi tool off inside it. I'll try to drill it and tap it to 7/16 but, I doubt if it's going to happen.

I really don't feel like buying headers and reworking the exhaust.

Good luck! Is this the truck that passed Doug Bigelow?

I'll be headed up Saturday morning, let me know if you need me to get you anything for you on the way to the park.

No, I've always run PRP seats for comp/racing, the shoulder slots were low for my shoulder height and I was always running the belts through the slots. I'm still not sure of any one event that cause my disc to herniate so bad, it flared when I hadn't wheeled or raced in almost 6 months. My shock tune was never right for racing and I have cased out hard several times crawling, so I think I have just pushed it too hard too many times?

Nerfing, nearly rolling, and passing Doug was the Pinnacle of my racing career. I never laughed so hard in my life.

I've slept 1 hour since Monday at 5:00 AM. It will be running tonight before I leave for Syracuse!

Thankfully my Dad's been working on it when I'm not here.

Stupid Balduccis are ass fucking around with Miller and they are no help.

I got it running at about 3:30 AM. Then I started to fill it with water and it poured out of the area below the thermostat and at the intersection of block, head, and intake manifold. To tired to care right now. 2 hour nap and then off to work.
