Building a buggy and not sure what to use for skins. Looking for something that will last so I don't have to replace all the time.throw up your suggestions.
Common is aluminum because of availability and weight.
Most durable options weigh too much.
One option is race car plastic. It's durable, cheap, and light. The problem is that it warps in hot and cold if not allowed to move so must be loosely held in place.
One mine I used aluminum but recessed it between bars to it would get less damage.
