I'm using an Astro van setup with homemade hoses(have access to a crimper) and a dedicated pump. Held my 44's, in double low with 5.38s and could even lock them up on a grass field from a good run
I used a mid 80's hydro unit off a 3/4 or 1 ton Chevrolet truck on a Scout II. Been awhile and memory is hazy. Did a rear axle disc conversion @ same time. Works great. Grabbed the cooler for the PS unit. Used a 'Y' fuel block for the low pressure return to PS pump & hydro. This one from Jegs. JEGS Performance Products 15110 JEGS Billet Y-Blocks
