I have floater 35 spline 60s front and rear. The rear axle hubs are lubricated by gear oil from the diff.
Every 2 or 3 trips my aluminum drive slug caps get so mashed that gear oil starts leaking out of the hubs. The socket head screws get bent and don't thread out.
I thought a good solution to this problem would be steel drive slug caps. Anyone make them? They'd last a hell of a lot longer than the aluminum ones.
