I need an adapter shaft from a male 32 spline shaft (13-45 t-case rear output) to a 31 spline female shaft. (ford t-case input) Anyone know of a vendor or application that would have something like this?
Alternatively, who would be a good vendor to contact to have one made? I'm not sure how you'd go about cutting blind internal splines but I can't imagine it's easy....
It's not a t-case, it's a US Gear 2 speed unit, similar to a gear vendors. I'm trying to put it behind the transfer case so that I can split gears. The input is identical to a ford t-case input however. There is no feasible way to swap shafts on the US Gear. I had looked at using a 13-56 slip yoke t-case, as the output on the t-case is the same 31 spline as the US Gear input. However, the output shaft is so long that the US Gear would be about 6" further aft than I want it, resulting in rear driveline problems. Additionally, the 13-56 case is magnesium so i couldn't just weld a mount up to the rear of the case and there would be sealing issues.
The 13-45 case will work well, I just need to figure out how to get the shaft to work. I have also considered just welding 2 pieces of shafting with the correct splines together, however I'm hesitant to go this route.
done lots of these shafts just give me a call 931-635-3255 ryan
