Few days ago on the Spike TV Stacy David Gearz Marathon he introduced a new anti seize applicator tool. Here in the rust belt coating fasteners is a wise investment.
It had a brush and also a port where you could dip a bolt and get a perfect coating without getting the anti seize lube all over.
I`ve Goggled the Gearz web site and have searched for "Anti Seize Applicator" have have come up empty.
For the amount of the lube I use it looked like a good way to do the fasteners and keep the mess to a minimum.
Yeah it is 25 bucks but I use AS on all my fasteners, hands, fingers, tools, walls, light switches, nose pickings, clothes and anything else I touch.
Have a set of aluminum BL`s to set up over the holidays. 32 x 4 = A hell of a mess.
Gonna call them in the AM and see if I can get one direct.
Thanks again.
EDIT
This looks good too, thanks. I type slow..........
SLICKON® Bolt Dip & Brush™ on Anti-Seize Technology Industries, Inc.
and it comes with several flavors of AS to choose from.
Turns out Anti Seize Technology, the makes of the Slickon Bolt Dip and Brush, designed the applicator for Klever. For an extra couple bucks you get the Slickon filled with your flavor of AS over the cost of just the Klever applicator.
Yup a membrane or wiper would be a good term to describe it. Different diameters for different sized fasteners.
Can`t answer the 25% question. When it shows up I`ll update the thread. Believe there is a means of adjusting the internal "piston" to raise and lower the AS level.
If you purchase refills from AS Tech it comes in a tube. You squeeze it into the center port where the brush holder is. No mess unless you have the piston at the top and it all overflows.
