The previous owner of my YJ on 37's was an idiot and was running some kind of bastard 2-leaf pack in the rear. It rode horrible and sat way too high. So, I'm in the process of tearing it down and getting the leaves set up correctly.
Here's my first revision of the new packs. I'm pretty sure it's a Rancho 44044 Wagoneer main leaf and I know for sure the rest is stock YJ. The first pic is the front half and the 2nd pic is the rear half.
On the 2nd pic I set a screwdriver where the spring clamp will be. My question is regarding the arch of the main spring versus the rest of the pack. Will a clamp bring them together enough that it will function correctly?
I'm already in the process of installing a fuel cell so stretching the WB in the rear isn't an issue. Think I'd be better off just running an XJ pack with added main leaf?
