Improved Racing Baffling System

Knuckle Busters Racing is looking forward to participating in some of the most competitive offroad desert and rock crawl races in the nation. With great anticipation we look forward to flogging our car properly so we looked to Improved Racing to improve our oil delivery system.

After a very quick and basic install we noticed that the F body oil pan that they supplied us has definitely given us an advantage. The increased clearance that the pan allows us is vital to our success in the rock crawling sections of our endurance races.

As far as the baffling system, it works flawlessly. We no longer experience a decrease in oil pressure like we did before. We're able to work some of the gnarliest waterfalls and huge sweeping turns with out having to back off because of decreased oil pressure.

If you are into racing like we are and are running an LS Based engine. You can trust that Improved Racing can help deliver that extra edge that you need to stay competitive.

I run one with my f body pan but over fill a quart to keep oil pressure on steeper climbs. if you got room get a oil accumulator. I'll be adding one eventually to my system.

I've got one in my new build and ran one in my old buggy. They're good enough if you already have an F-body pan that you got cheap. Definitely 100x better than without.

If you need the pan also, it's cheaper to get the Mast pan with built-in baffle from Wide Open Design

Chris, is the Mast pan the same size as the oe f-body pan? we need the f-body pan for it's size (I currently have the truck pan and need the f-body to free up some space)

Yeah they make a 5" deep one that I believe is the same depth as an F-body. It's a really nice piece. If I didn't get a complete F-body pan setup for $100, I'd be running one on my new buggy.

It's just about even with the bottom of a TH400 O.E. truck pan
