When I was shopping around my Wal-mart gave me the 160 price. $158.72 or something like that to be exact.

wow... they need to get out more often dont they

man these 37s are really getting to be real cheap... remember first when they came out? they where like 300 something dollars.

I heard from somone in the Tire business that Goodyear cant keep up with the demand on these puppys. thats why they can sell them so cheap. is this true?

Do you have any concept of what supply and demand is?? What you just said makes no sense whatsoever. If they couldn't keep up with demand they should jack up prices so that the demand becomes less because less people can afford them. Lowering prices increases demand. I honestly don't know why they sell 'em so cheap if they can't keep 'em in stock, doesn't make any sense to me. But crap, I'm not complaining. And they said I needed to take Econ over again

Please explain to me why you would buy MT/R's for 180 bucks when you can buy TSL's for 160 for 36" and 175 for 38"?

I just got back from doing some stuff this afternoon, and our walmart doesn't have them. It must be a local deal.

My guess is someone special ordered them and didn't end up buying them so they are trying to clear the 5 they have out.

To the guys wondering how these tires are gettin got so cheaply...............

Go to the Cheap MTR's thread. Its a huge thread that explains how this started.

Someone got em cheap, I dont know if they knew someone or what but they posted their WalMart receipt on PBB. Someone else copied it, took it in, got the deal at a different WalMart and then they posted their receipt, then someone else bought.

Catching on yet. It is a price match thing.

Amanda is most likely right. Someone special ordered them and instead of the WW making them prepay, like mine did, they ordered them and the person did not pay.

Now, it is stock they need to clear out.

I have NEVER seen a tire with more sidewall issues than the MTR. Still, anyone wanna trade some practically brand new TSL 38's for some 37" MTR's?

What size is that 38? Are they the 12.5x15 or wider and bigger rim?

I may be interested.
