Mark- you could always do like Rocktoad and use a pos RX7 or something similar as a ramp. Your neighbors will love you for it!

just make it out of some 2x4's and then make a bon fire out of it when it breaks. Just use lots of wood.

I took a sheet of OSB and cut it 4' to 0 leaving it 8' long. then I built a 2x6 frame the same way and sandwiched it between the two sheets. a few braces so it doesnt tip over and walla, a 20 dollar 30 minute ramp.

I built mine out of 2x2x3/16th and it is about 5' high and 20"wide and the way it is made you pull4 bolts and it lays flat (2" to 3") and it is a 30 degree. I will try and find a pic and post!

Howdy:
Does anyone have a formula for converting the results of my verticle ramp (forklift) to RTI?
Thanks

(((Vertical Distance)/(sin of ramp angle))/(wheel base))*1000

This won't be exactly the same as a real ramp (doesn't take the radius of the tire on the angle into account--hard to explain but drawl yourself a picture and you'll see it) but its close.

(Sorry Camo )

I have no need to get an RTI score, that is very !!
i just want to see where my tires are going to hit, and what back spacing wheels to go with before go wheelin, then my friends bronco is getting a SAS so i need to measue for shocks, plus i am bored and feel like welding something up,

I am going to use some 2x4, 2x2 and angle iron, a whole bunch of firends are donating thier scrap metal for the ramp as in FREEE

PS Camo i will post a pic of my cool ass moped i just got tonight you will be sooooo jelous!

this is about the nicest ramp I have ever been on.
http://communities.msn.com/OffroadK5...oto&PhotoID=30
It's adjustable for 20,25,30. It has a set of trialer wheels the pop on very easy. REAL strong also.
Let's see if I can put an image. If not sorry. If you hit that link foward and back from the paicture there are a few differnt shots from different angles.

Just drive around the local industrial area on a Sunday. Find any vacant loading ramp and do your experimentation. Take pictures use a yard stick and duct tape so you can see what's happening. Take notes make your changes and come back next week to check improvements. Hell, just for checking clearances any big rock or Honda Accord will do.

hmm honda huh, naaa Stacie will kick me ass

Rocks, plaeeeese i don't actually want to wheel it i just to want to be cool and say i have a 1,000,000 on the score

The rocks are a little far away from my house (last time a construction guy yelled at me as well) I tired the loading ramps but it seems that more and more of them are having those bars put on the sides on them so you can not drive on them!!

Grim: thats a nice ramp, not my style though, i don;t have that muchtime in anything i even own!

BTW mine is going to only be 4-5 feet long and 35-40 degs
