Are EMPI the only ones left that make child/kid supensions seats??

I have spent the last week searching Google and Pirate for kids suspension seats and it seems that the only one I can find that are still in production are Empi Race Trim. It seems as if PRP has discontinued the Preemie and Pre Teen, and Mastercraf has also discontinued the mini me. From everything I can seem to find, the Empi is going to be to small. Dose anyone know of any other seats that are about the same size as the mini me that can still be purchased??

Call Kartec and see if they have any of PRPs seats left in inventory. They used to keep them in stock.

Did you see the PRP Premier Lite?

Also, Did you call PRP? Any time I have talked to them, they would make whatever seat you want, in whatever size you want. Very helpful and could give you a price and lead time easily.

Kinda what I found in a recent search too. I have an EMPI kid seat on the way that should show up tomorrow. The Premier Lite was the only other small seat, but its definitely sized for double-digit ages.

I've had both PRP and Twisted Stitch Jr seats. The PRP was tiny.

Just arrived. The EMPI seat. My son is 17 months old and loves it already. Fits great, light weight, and actually good quality for the price.

I like the size, but will probably stick with one of the beefier car seats just for the added neck support because they will inevitably fall asleep in the seat.

I would do the same if he were just a passenger. This is for his buggy that he will drive

I know you've got something already, but for others.. Twisted Stitch makes a sweet preemy booster. It has no tabs to mount it though they can be added easily. Its designed to set right in their adult seat and use the existing seat belts which is really great if you just want to take the kiddo for a cruise. If you set some tabs up to mount them, they do have holes to lace smaller belts in. I certainly thought they were cool.

What dimensions do you need? I've got one of each seat I could measure.

Edit: Found the preteen dimensions here http://davesoffroadsupply.com/PRP-Pr...eat_p_152.html
28" Tall X 19" Wide X 23" Deep
Mounting Area: 12" Wide X 16" Front to Back

Edit2: Found preemie dimensions other than mount points here http://www.patriotmx.com/prp-preemy-...-booster-seat/
25″ Tall X 17″ Wide X 20″ Deep

That's great thanks... Just trying to get a good idea of size, as no where close carries theses seats to look at, before I order a set. Want to make sure that I don't order one that's too small. I'd rather it be a little big than small, I could always add a little padding but if it's to small its money down the drain.

I made a bracket (way over kill but what I had on hand) to mount the preteen seat to and have it bolt in place of the normal fat boy PRP seats I have. This lets me change the seats out quick enough and leave the harness on the bracket. I just have to connect the shoulder straps. With the preemie having different mounts as well I made up an adapter so I could attach it to the same bracket the preteen uses. Plan to add a rear section of cage so both seats can go in the back over the winter.

Frostytj, you sir are a Beauty.... Thank you very much for the pic's and info. This is exactly what I needed to see to help aid in a decision.

Edit....
Could I trouble you for one more pic please. One with the two seats side by side for an overall size comparison. Thanks a ton.
