Good Off Road Happenings in May???

Hi there.

Head man of Finnish 4x4-magazine is planning a trip to USA starting from late April (23rd actually) to end of May. His plan is to drive from Florida -> Texas -> New Mexico -> Arizona -> California and back to Florida lot of driving and so far that is just his plan.

He is asking that do I know any good events or happenings related to 4x4 during that time and that route. So I promised him to find out and what would be better place to get info than Pirate BB

So please help me with this one and tell who to contact to get more info of the events?

Jare from Finland

PS. You never know....your car might end up to a Finnish 4x4 magazine

if hes driving all the way over to cali then its a must that he detours over to moab. there is nothing like it in the world and would be a great addition to his trip
im sure there are a lot of guys that would be glad to take him out and show him some sights.

I guarentee all major trails moab and rubicon etc. are going to be loaded with people and guarenteed to see some sort of good wheeling. Any popular trail is gonna be loaded with wheelers living it up.

May 14th and 15th there's a bunch of us from a different board having our 3rd anual badlands Bash at the badlands in attica indiana (good midwest wheeling, something different from just deep mud or rocks in the desert). PM me for more info.

May 12-15 in Moab Utah. Primarily an isuzu event, but all are welcome. Great group of people, great wheelin, and great scenery. If he's out there for the event I'd be glad to make sure theres a passenger seat available for him.
