speed sensors? 4L60E with dual cases

so i'm getting ready to install a vortec 5.7 with a 4L60e (both 1996) and a 203 rangebox with a landcruiser transfer case in a vehicle.
how many speed sensors do i need to run and where should they be placed?
i was going to run one on the t-case output, but i do not think the trans will upshift in low or double low, because the computer has no way of knowing that the vehicle is using an extra gear reduction.
do i have to run a sensor on the trans output?
if so, where and how do i install the sensor? i'm using the stock gm 350-203 plate adapter and the AA output shaft for that application.
do i still run the one on the t-case output?

thanks in advance!

Send a message via Yahoo to Grendel
Run it on the last t-case output.
I am using a Auto meter sender, 4K pulse.

one of the guys from AA just helped me figure it out. check the other thread.

running the rear t-case output only will not work properly in low or double low; it'll never upshift. on a non computer controlled trans it would work perfect, but not on the 4L60E.

I got the AA reluctor kit part# 716073. I'm running a 4.3/4L60E in my toyota. The vss mounts in the rear of the tranny housing.
