They are suppose to be ready around the spring time but there is no official date as of yet. They are relatively light in weight at 120 pounds but that could change as they stated they have testing left to do. The smaller darker lugs on the outer edge are meant to be grooved if desired, depending on the terrain.

while its not a tire I would want for my buggy, kuddos for MT for looking at the market, and saying let's make a tire to compete in that ring. Even Interco Sx stickies are getting cut looks similar to that tire. It would be cool to see more innovation in the tire world.

Looks like it would rule here in the Midwest. Is it too much to hope they'll produce it for 16.5" wheels?

Baja boss looks like a decent tire for those wanting something DOT approved. Slightly tamer PBR tread it seems.

I bet there are some big ass mountains/rocks and steep hill climbs in Baja. Maybe mud too after a hurricane blows through.

But for real, that's what all their offroad tires are called Baja xxx

Why would their new tires be called anything but a Baja whatever?

What is the last off roadish tire that wasn't a "Baja whatever"?

I saw one at SEMA last week. Kind of a strange tread design, the center lugs are quite a bit taller than the rest.
