The combination of your sheet metal work and welding is awe inspiring.

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! I'm still the student, and always my own worst critic.

Thanks for noticing the keystone in the design! Your the first to mention it in over 100 comments and thousands of views on multiple social media outlets.

Yes it is. Many different mandrels available as well. Great nutsert tool also. All those dimples and certs were set with it. Very easy on the hands versus my very good quality Marson hand setter....

But that is over $800 sitting there in the pic.

Had to do a shop reset this weekend. Having 3 units in the shop made for a slower pace with having to move tools to use them. .
.
These two to be finished by Christmas, (Sam Wingett's and Travis Watford's, 3DB coming back in to complete through winter; getting to a clear shop to make room for my spring appointments); so efficiency was the main idea of this remodel. All fabrication tooling is now center mass, rather than rolled out to use or on opposite ends of the shop.

How hard is it for you to leave a part you're not 101% happy with? Even when it's something you know nobody will notice.

More times than I care to admit I find myself saying,"17 coats of paint should smooth that out".

Getting one in the reverse curve, want it completely nailed down before I cut a hole and weld or rivet in that curve. Flush mounted; but I'm not sure a kid could reach it strapped in, the shock tubing underneath won't let me get it as close as I want.

It's getting harder, the older I get, along with the progression of my skills and tools. If I'm going to invest my money for tools and time for skills and knowledge... there's no point in not doing it right.

The are a few small little points I wish were better. But, I feel like I'm ahead of the curve on the customer's expectations, I'll live with them... they are only noticable to me anyway. But in the same hand, I learned how to do it better next time.
