Sterling 10.25 5.13s

BL is a little loose at 0.012, pinion is at 0.038. Factory carrier shims.






Tighten up the BL and run it?

Iím not an expert but the angle of the picture plus the pattern not being so clear makes this inconclusive. Backlash seems like it is a touch off.

Maybe get another pattern and post up again. More marking paint.

Iím not the pro but the pinion looks too deep to me.

My thinking is the pattern is centered up heel to toe, or pretty close. Maybe 0.003-5Ē off but sharp at the root from the loose BL. And I myself am no pro trying to learn what to do from a baseline reading. The install illustrations donít help me for whatever reason, they usually end up confusing me more haha.

Too deep. Pull the pinion out .02 and push the carrier over .05. See where that gets you. Post another picture when you do.

I would pull .003-.005 from under the pinion and bring the B/L to .010 and you will be all good.
