will 2020+ jeeps have the 3.0 Diesel option?

is there any legit and reliable info on the 3.0 diesel being available on the US market?

i keep seeing articles like this but who knows if anything will come from it

I haven't seen anything that is concrete.

I believe the design is there and tested, but I think fiat is trying to figure out if it makes since or not. They already sell every JL they make, pretty sure the JT will follow that, so do they really need a diesel option to be successful? It would also be at such a high price point, it may not be successful on its own.

ya that's what i was thinking, they keep talking about the diesel option in the US which we can only hope

Doubtful, the JK had the same engine as the colorado vm motori "duramax" overseas.

The JL is already offered with a fiat 2.2L diesel, why they feel the need to stuff the ecodiesel in there for the NA market is beyond me.

The yuppies who buy them dont care either way.

Did you guys ever get the 3.0 diesel 2005 and up Grand Cherokees or other Jeeps?

yes the grand cherokee from 2014-16 was available and then 2018 again.

emissions BS reasons for the states maybe or just to have bigger HP/TQ numbers?
