soild conversion 2015 Yukon - keeping 20" wheels 2.9" center manual hubs?

I got a custom set of wheels 6 on 5.5 for when it was IFS and center hole size didnt matter (I got to keep these wheels. Death by will if not..) This is mostly a street beast including a Durmax swap and doing a solid front but I really really want manual hubs. Ive considered every axle from Fab9 to Toyota and all factory axles. Maybe a ProRock 44? I believe the wheels could be opened to 3.4" but I just dont have deep axle knowledge.

The axle will see snow and mud but not much.. No rock hill climbs.
I remember the old bronco hubs being skinny..

Sounds like you just need to have the wheels machine to open up the center bore.

Your wheels can only be machined out to 3.4" center bore? What's limiting you from going larger?

Otherwise I'd say a Super Duty front axle with unit bearings redrilled to 6x5.5 would be the ticket...

Just busting your chops with the spelling. As for axle, newer superduty axle. Don’t try to be cheap. Just get new wheels.

As ugly as those wheels are, you should get new wheels no matter what.

you are wanting to keep manual hubs, but don't have them now?

sell those for $3300 and buy some steel wheels looks like there is plenty of space to grind them open to fit

I designed them and they are a one off set.. Its exactly what I wanted and still want. I will figure out how to keep them even if I dont get manual hubs or I can bore the centers out.. Lets see ur ride.

If you designed and made them, make an 8 lug set.

Hell they appear to be multi piece just to make new centers.

designed, not made. hence the price tag.

I can understand not wanting to spend all that again, but it should be reasonably easy to DIY opening up the centers

Youre talking about spending nearly $20000 on a $60000 shit box and you cant figure out how to bore your wheels out or change wheel cause "feelings"

Thank god theyre 1 off wheels i dont think i could live in a world with 2 retards fucking dumb enough to run them.

Haul that douche wagon back to seman. Im sure theres 50 brodozer squat boys that would love to blow your centers out and cram 2000lbs of shitty fab work and zipties at that jizz white mobile slurp station

What the fuck are the bolts around the edge for?
2p modular wheel with removable centers?
Bead lock?
Fucking useless decoration?

Is it just me and the angles of the pics but it looks like the bolt count is all fucked off compared to the cutouts is the wheel center making them out of whack?

post a build thread, please.

And just have another set of wheels made. Sounds like you're planning to spend a ton of money anyway, so why not "do it right?"

if I had to guess, 2 piece modular. standard stamped steel rings with customizable aluminium centers. easier to design your own wheels that way, not a bad gig to be in for a 'custom wheel' company

It probably has an odd number of spokes because it cuts down on harmonic vibrations. Itís just a two piece wheel with a custom center (could be three-piece). Itís about the easiest way there is to make a custom wheel. All you have to make is the center. And I would suggest that his are billet because they are flat faced.

FYI I did not edit your post, the buttons are really small on my phone and I had a hard time hitting the right one. Thatís what I get from posting in the car.

OP, you may want to look at some Dana 60 hubs I believe theyíre all about 4 to 4 1/2 inches in diameter. IIRC.
