Nv4500, Th400, Or 4l80e

I have a NV4500 right now for my latest project, but I'm afraid that I bought too much motor for my style of driving and I need some help with the transmission selection. It's a 95 YJ with a Vortec 454, soon to have Atlas, HP 60's, and 39.5" Boggers. Back to the question, I'm afraid that I will snap front axles (even with CTM's and Superior Chromo shafts) with a stick. So I'm wondering what the general consensus is with the list of trans in the title. Jeep will not be driven on the hwy, but I would like to be able to go over 45 mph if I wanted. Typical type of terrain would be Tellico or Windrock.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No need for overdrive & the hassle of the computer if you never plan to go over 45. TH400.

The overdrive would be an unneeded expense but would be nice when you'd like to go 45+ in low range without overreving!

be a man and stay manual, you can always swap in the auto later if you do indeed break axles.

It's just the fact the axles are a lot of $$$$.$$ for me and don't want to buy them twice.
I do love a five speed though.

TH400, I would get the reverse pattern manual valve body from Art Carr.
