Mac's XXX traction comp buggy DONE!

Well it took five days to build the chassis, and four months for me to finish the rest, but itís done (more or less) is still have some bugs to workout like getting a transmission that works.
These pictures were taken at the Randyís girls photo shoot and yes there is No touch on the tires

To bad its a single seater I would want to take her with me everywhere. I like the look it sets you apart from the crowd.

I saw pics of a comp buggy with the winch on the axle in petersens (i know, i know). it looks interesting, but I can see how that would lead to some problems. Havve you used it yet?

Iíve used it a couple of times because the Trans is dead, It seams to work fine, Iím sure itís a lot of pressure on the upper links but in competition you almost never need it.

We had a mid-build design change, originally I was going to straddle the trans but after we got started we decided, that had already been done and we wanted to build something lower, sleeker and more or less original that hadnít been done. I think we did it (and I had already built all the drive train pieces for a LH drop). The RH drive will take some getting use to.
