blue jeep build pics

i just bought a new dig cam and thought id post up some pix of my latest project for u guys to critique. notice the raised (not dropped) pitman arm. it had to be this way to clear the tie rod. this rig isnt done yet, but shes close. the customer even wanted a/c, if u look close you can see all the parts. thats no fun to put on a ground up rig.

this fuel filler is one of my fav parts. the cap goes right in the center of the spare tire.

yeah, cust didnt wanna powdercoat the axles to match, wanted por-15 so he could touch up, color/texture difference bugs the hell outa me. its a 'glass yj hood that has filled in corners (right above the headlamps)

heres a better hood shot...
i circled the power steering fliud cooler and rock shield. every hydro (full or assist) should have one imo.

yeah. she can lift any 1 tire 48" and pinion angles work and everything clears, BARELY. not to shabby for a full bodied rig that will have a top. ill take some pix next week, leavin outa town in the morn.

heres the dash, the artcarr will go in that housing. notice the circled xm sat radio unit cradle (it will mount on off of the front hoop). this guy wants all the luxuries.

cant remember lengths, i think lowers were about 46". gm remaned 700r and a 3.8 atlas.

its funny, we machined that on there over 2 months ago, as far as i know, the cust still hasnt noticed.

god i hate those tires. it all came down to the customer. i pushed hard for my fav, the sx. oh well, just makes me look better when we wheel together.
