Nv4500 to Atlas Question

Is the atlas suppose to slide right together with the tranny, because I cant seem to get them mounted together. Is there any special technique. I greased the input and I made sure they are both 29 spline (tranny output, t-case input....

when i bought my set up from advance the seal at the end of the nv4500 needed to be removed cause the atlas imput is sealed and bigger
