high steer on d60 ball joint?

Is this possible or what? Some say yeah, some say no.I heard you can run dana44 high steer arms( modified shaved) on the dana 60 knuckles. Basiclly run a "Flattop-style" dana 60.True or no True????? Pictures would be great.Thanks. fell free to pm me some photos if possible.thanks.

not usually neccesary. most of the guys i know out here wind up only running regular low steer on factory sixty knuckles, ball joint or not. the only times i have seen a sixty knuckle broken was in a high steer set up. if you want to run high steer you should "steer" away from a factory knuckle anyway and just put on the dedenbear stuff anyway.

wms makes some i made some for my superduty front but have yet to try them out used 2 bolts and tiged the arms to the knuckles then used a long bolt and went through the arm and the low mount hole so it is double shear

here ya go, my buddy Eric at EMS offroad did this for me. 3/4" bolt will go through the original hole on the knuckle for double shear.

On page 11 of this thread you'll see some pics of a Dana 60 histeer with flat top knuckles. The steering kit is from S&N Fab.

My BJ 60 has high steer, I do not have the camera with me but I will try and snap some tomorrow. It has currie high steer arms and f450 outer knuckles.
