LS6 Wiring Harness

I found an 2004 z06 ls6 engine for my new buggy project and was trying to find if anyone knows of a place where I can get a harness built to make this thing run.

Call up turn key and buy their computer and harness.

a computer that will fit in the palm of your hand and a whopping 5 wires coming off the motor. Its sick how clean their harness is.

I'm confused as to how there are only 5 wires coming off the motor? 8 injectors, tps, mas, cam and crank sensors, temp sensor, ignition, etc....

Maybe fewer, but I don't see only 5.

Turn key has nice products, but I have heard horror stories about customer service. I have had nothing but great results from New School and have only heard similar stories.

Sorry to keep beating this dead horse, but 8 injectors means at least 8 wires. Plus all the others, it may be cleaner than some harnesses but not just 5 wires.

He means that you only have to hook up 5 wires, the rest of the wiring is completed in the harness, which conects all of the inj., ecm,,maf, and so on. Kind of like a car stereo has several wires coming out the back one for power always, one for power with the switch, etc., etc. Think of this harness as a stereo and all you have to do is connect power to it, plus a couple others.
Hope that helps.

Easy Rick.

I've know them for a while...they seem pretty damn cool to me. They can't be that bad...they sponsor pretty much every single damn comp buggy out there...everyone runs their motors. Campbell, walker, jordan, all rock runner racing, all spidertrax, etc.

I bought my LS1 harness and kit from turnkey, I got it like in two days from my phone order. Ended up I had a different sensor then was needed, they sent it out no-charge. Excellent service and tech help.

For the money, buy a 5.3 liter. 300HP easy, and I just picked up one for $500 with only 23K miles. Not knocking the other motors, just more hype than power

Thats jealousy talking right there. 5.3 stoked to get 300 hp or a BONE stock motor that is 150lbs lighter with 405hp, that happily will go up from there. Drive a rig with an ls6 in it, try mine if you want and then drive that anemic supposed 300horse turd and you'll be singing a different song. Everybody that has driven mine sure has. Lets not forget the other stock goodies like hollow crank and camshaft for a lighter reciprocating assy, and ultra fast spin up. I just turned 100hrs on my ls6 and I still enjoy it as much as the first test drive.

Back on topic. another vote for speartech.

Yeah but $500 is $500, and 300 supposed hp is plenty for most. I have a friend that got one the other day for $500 as well with 30,000 on the ticker. He is looking for a place to get a wiring harness and such.
