Redneck Ram giveaway: All vendors/wheelers be advised!

The topic of this discussion is FREE SHIT!! Its is NOT a givaway for a ram. It involves all the vendors on this board who give shit away and those that win it. Sometimes when you win a "free whatever" its not always "free"............................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ...........................................

This is not one of those events

I won a Stage II Redneck ram from west Texas offroad in july.
Thats right JULY.
Well what happened is I won and as I was getting all the shit together I was supposed to deploy so I gave Matt a call and he said "No, problem. give me a call when you get back"
well I ended up NOT getting deployed.
Next problem I ran into was the inability to find a friggen IH Scout steering box that someone did not want an obscene amount for. Funny how when you WANT something is when people want to rape you for it.

I finally got a box that had to be sent to Matt and when it finally got there it was January
Time flies.

well tonite I get this heavy ass box

No money, no nothing. I got kick ass fucking service a half a year AFTER I won a prize. He even checked with me to make sure the holes were in the correct location for my application. This is what makes a great vendor.

To Matt at www.westtexasoffroad.com

I am giving props. The title and first sentence is a parody of another thread from last month.

Yep, Matts the man!

He's also fun to watch wheeling. Even if he almost fell off a big cliff in Moab. ITs been years but I still remember that one clearly.

You got screwed...Bec got far better service than that cause Matt even included the reach around when he did her box.
You should demand the same treatment!!!

Ive done business with them a few times and they are awesome... I loved the last setup we got from them, he was asking which steering arms I was running and all kinds of questions I honestly never expected. Its great to see someone that not only knows what he's doing, but cares about getting things right the first time.

We got measurements incorrect on hose length the first time we ordered from them and he was like no problem send your hoses in and we will swap you out. GREAT customer service and support. Thanks Matt and West Texas Offroad.

Matt is great to work with. I had some trouble with one of his old rams- he ended up rebuilding it twice (after the waranty period had expired) and I still had problems, so after about 2 years he sent me one of his brand new ones for FREE and its been working great ever since.

I know he must have lost money working with me, but hopefully he'll make it up with the referrals I send to him and I know I'll be back if/when I need something else.
