Does anybody use quarter turn fasteners

I'm looking for quarter turn fasteners to mount the fiberglass fenders and bed sides on my truck. The ? I have is were is the best/cheapest place to buy them, I need like 50 or 60 of them.

try mcmaster-carr. search for quarter turn. i dont think its exactly what you had in mind but it might help. i'd like to see some pics. i've often thought of doing something like this to help get through state inspections.

it would take longer, but you could probably use a wing nut or similar instead. maybe even less of them.

fastenall has a big selection. We used them on our FSAE race cars in school, and they worked fine.

I maybe off but I think your looking for Dzus fasteners.
1/4 turn used in small aircraft.

Yes thats what I'm lookin at,but were is the cheapest place to get them.The dzus fasteners are what I whould like to get.

why so many? most use 6 or so per fender, so that makes about HALF of what you have listed......you just wanna go overkill and make it look more like a plane?

Well I figured 8 each for the front and 12 each for the rear sorry my math was off all I need is 40.

The links listed above have good prices. Here in Canada there is a place that brings them in for a helicopter company. Sure we can buy them there but at $3.60/fastener and $1.98 for a plate (canadian funds) it's pricey.
I think if I ever use them again I would order from one of the links above. Good ol USA.
