Chevy D60 Brake Upgrade?

Working on building a custom 609 that will run Chevy Outer parts and brakes.
However, the Chevy caliper is only a single piston and I don't feel confident in it's stopped power when 42" rubber is bolted up to it.

So to those running Chevy outers or Chevy D60s, what brakes are you running?

Well there are the Howe dual calipers and wilwood makes lots of calipers. I'm running t-bird calipers.

I don't have any problem driving around town with my over 8k lb rig with stock D60 brakes up front and a standard 3/4 ton front disc'ed 14FF in the rear with heavy radial 38's.

Hydroboost would be my first upgrade before bigger calipers if I felt I needed more stopping power.

Those are both smaller and weaker then stock D60 stuff. Wilwood might have 1 or 2 that would actually be an upgrade but I haven't checked.
