Dana 44 and 60 military?

So I found a 78 Dodge truck for sale on the internet a few days ago. It was advertized as dana 60 front dana 70 rear military axles. I called the guy and asked him about the truck and he said his wife misprinted the ad. (okay kinda strange but alright) but he said it was dana 44 front dana 60 rear military axles.

I have never heard of military dana 60s much less dana 44s. Does anyone know if these axles even exist? If they do, then what are the differences in them and the standard 44 and 60?

here is the ad i am talking about (http://golsn.com/listings/automotive...ks/684132.html)

Those trucks come with a 44 front, and a 60 rear. Military used pickups from Dodge, Jeep (dana 70's, closed knouckle front), and Chevy (60 and 14b) over the years. They are the same axles that came in civilian trucks.

In the Dodges the military wasn't anything special. But that one has lockouts on it, the military had unit bearings.
