AA D300 clocking ring/input shaft... TONS of play?(video)

So I was about to install my clocking ring/extended input shaft into my D300... When I installed the gear back onto the new input shaft, there is a ton of slop in the splines. I rechecked this on the stock shaft and play is fairly minimal.

Look at this video:

No, the gear that is held on the input shaft has play on the shaft itself. The only thing holding the gear in place is a snap ring so it can't really be tightened in any way.

I uploaded the video to Youtube so those w/ Windows Vista can see it too(I noticed on my woman's computer w/ Vista it doesn't open Photobucket videos):

YouTube - Advance Adapters D300 input shaft

It's processing right now but if you try back later it should play.

...I called Advance Adapters today when I got off work. I spoke with someone and they went into their stock to check some input shafts to see what the play was like and would call me back.

...45min later(just now) I got the call, apparantly some of the shafts are looser than others on the gear so they'll be sending me out a new shaft ASAP

Awesome service
