.48" longer per Spicer specs. 7.51 vs 7.03

Joint centerline to end of shaft.

The splined section into the bearing journal is the same because of the unit bearing, but they are longer from the bearing journal to the joint.

If you have a normal axle you need the 15+ 250/350 1550 shafts part numbers that are all over this thread.

How much longer are they?

Has anyone destroyed one of the ford unit bearings? I hit my wheel pretty hard and something let go inside mine. Bearing got real notchy like it broke a race or brinelled the bearing instantly.

See it all the time on fwd cars and curb hits, I imagine it's not impossible with these bearings. But I've smoked my rf a few times enough times to bend the upper bball joint twice.

If your running upper ball joints, check to be sure you didn't bend the stud. I've bent two.

As long as there’s a few threads extending past the nut it’s safe. I’ve been saying between 100-150 ft/lbs. Just FB message me if you run into anything and have questions, I’m not on here as much as I used to be.

Truth. I had a problem with my star and finally had to have paypal fight it to get a response.

I remember 10 years ago; if ANYONE brought the tech to chit-chat, all hell would break loose!

"How dare you bring tech to chit-chat; faggot!!1!"

Now; that's where members bring it if they want something answered quickly because that's where most of the traffic is.

Most of the forums here are ghost towns now.
