Pro Comp "1028 style" true beadlock ?

Who sells the Pro Comp wheels that are true beadlocks? Or are the ones I see all "custom"?

Thanks

Just an FYI -
No one might of responded because they don't know what a "1028" is , nor care enough to search for that, then search for an answer.
Give us a bone by at least posting what a 1028 is.
Don't make the people you are asking the question to do all the work.

Thanks for posting the pictures TBItoy. The pro comp wheel you posted is the 1028.

I have not found any pro comp wheels that come beadlocked, they all seem to be simulated. Are guys having OMF or other companies beadlock them, or are there retailers that sell them set up already.

Thanks

I didn't know what specifically Pro Comp calls them, they are 6 5.5 and have been holding up really well.

Is this the wheel you're looking for? If so I dont think it's available through the normal channels. You'd have to contact Pro-Comp directly, as I'm pretty sure they only sell those through their racer program.

They are a true beadlock, and the inner ring is part of the wheel, not welded on. They are also VERY thick and strong as hell. If you plan to mount Pro-Comp or Maxxis tires on them you better have a tire machine though, as the drop center is rather shallow and the bead tolerance is quite tight (this is a good thing). BFGs are a much looser fit and can be mounted by hand.

That is the wheel I am looking for. Where did you get them?

From Pro Comp. I would call 4 wheel parts and see if they can work some magic for you. I haven't been able to hurt one yet. Same set of wheels for the last two koh's

4WP's won't know what you're talking about but the right store may be able to get you in touch with the right people, they have to be attained pro comp direct.

The series for the true beadlock I beleive is the 1026. The 1028's are a fake beadlock.

Let me know if 4WP does not get you what you need. We also run these wheels and I think I might be able to help.

Mike at Dunks Performance in Eugene OR, got ahold of Pro Comp today and they have 30 some odd 17" "1026" wheels in stock that they will sell.

We checked 5x5.5 because this was what I was looking for but I think they had other lug patterns.

I got the very last of the 6 lugs for Mishka. It's a damn shame too, cause they are a great looking wheel that is tough as hell.

No 8 lug available, these were actually produced for Greg Adlers rig and from what i understand were not even supposed to be available to the public.

Apparently Pro Comp is making another bead lock which will be released soon.

Anyone else heard this? Or have any info or pics?
